Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN eligibility.
• Candidate must meet state licensure requirements for Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and triage of patients at urgent care.
• Monitor patient's physiological status and alert physician of changes.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Provide nursing care according to standards.
• Assist physician during procedures.
• Administer IV and oral medications; start IV therapy as indicated.
• Advocate for patients and educate families about illness and care plan.
• Participate in life-saving measures and assist in EMS transfers.
• May perform unit/department duties per department documents.
