Job summary

University of Missouri Health Care is seeking a compassionate RN to join our Urgent Care team at the Jackson Rd. Urgent Care facility in Boonville, MO. The role involves 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, with on-site work and a base pay of $33.75 per hour plus weekend shift differentials.

The RN will conduct assessments, triage, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians in a fast-paced urgent care setting, contributing to patient advocacy and the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN licensure required.
• Compact state RN eligible in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and triage of patients in Urgent Care.
• Monitor patient status and notify physician of changes.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Provide nursing care per department standards.
• Assist physician during procedures.
• Administer IV and oral medications; initiate IV therapy with aseptic technique.
• Advocate for patients and educate families about care plans.
• Participate in life-saving measures and EMS transfers.
