Job summary

MU Health Care seeks a compassionate RN to join the Urgent Care team at South Providence Urgent Care in Columbia, MO. This PRN role requires at least one 12-hour shift every three weeks in a 7-day operation.

You will perform triage, patient assessments, and collaborate with physicians to deliver nursing care, advocate for patients, and educate families about treatment plans.

The clinic operates 8:00am–7:30pm seven days a week; on-site with a supportive team focused on life-saving measures.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license or Compact multi-state RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and triage of patients at Mizzou Urgent Care.
• Monitor patient conditions and notify physician of status changes.
• Administer IV and oral medications and initiate IV therapy.
• Advocate for patients and educate families about care plans.
• Assist physician during procedures.
