Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc in Columbus, OH seeks a Staff RN for Urgent Care Main Campus on days. Part-time position with 16 or 24 hours per week, shifting 7:30 am to 4 pm, with every third weekend rotation and holiday coverage.

The RN provides Family Centered care, assesses patient needs, communicates with the care team, educates families, documents per policy, and maintains Ohio RN licensure with CPR certification. BSN or ASN with commitment to BSN within 5 years is required.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire, required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certs as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and priorities.
• Communicates care needs to LPNs, PCAs, Unit Coordinators, and Allied Health staff.
• Plans, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards and policies.
