Nationwide Children’s Hospital Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) to join our pediatric nursing team in Columbus, supporting Dublin, Hilliard, Livingston Ambulatory Center, and East Broad clinics as needed.

The role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and family-centered care across Adolescent Medicine, Gynecology (non-surgical), and the STAR program. Ohio RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred with 5-year timeline.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ACEN/CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Three years of pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• BSN within 5 years of start date preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
• Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engages in the “workplace community” by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and reporting updates back to staff.
