Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for pediatric care. You will provide family-centered nursing, assess patient needs, educate families, and coordinate care with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting per standards, ensuring policy compliance, and participating in quality improvement. Requires ACEN/CCNE-accredited schooling, Ohio RN license and BLS; BSN preferred with completion within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited program required.
• BSN preferred; must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Works closely with providers and team to ensure smooth clinic flow and positive outcomes.
• Documents according to standards, policies and procedures.
• Engages in quality improvement and reports important information to staff.
