Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the urgent care team in Milwaukee. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the state. BLS is required, with ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

You will provide direct patient care, coordinate nursing processes, and support a high-performance care environment. Schedule includes 36 hours per week with a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with every fourth weekend.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of Hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
• Floating within the Milwaukee Market of Urgent Care.
