Job summary

InterMed in Scarborough, ME, invites applications for an ambulatory care Registered Nurse (RN) with a December 2026 start as our new location opens. You will deliver comprehensive outpatient care and collaborate with physicians and other health professionals.

Key duties include vital signs, medication administration, screenings, EMR entries, patient education and care coordination, all while upholding HIPAA and InterMed's patient-centered values.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited institution.
• 0+ years of nursing experience; ER/urgent care preferred but trainable.
• Unencumbered Maine RN license with BLS within 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and updates patient information and vital signs in charts.
• Administers medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Performs diagnostic screenings.
• Documents accurately in EMR and coordinates care with in-house teams.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and handles confidential information.
• Performs other duties to support InterMed's mission.
