Job summary

The RN will perform essential clinical duties, administer medications, conduct screenings, document in EMR, educate patients, and coordinate care with internal and external resources.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited institution.
• 0+ years of RN experience.
• Current Maine RN licensure and BLS within 6 weeks.
• Prior ER/Urgent care experience preferred, training provided.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical tasks based on assessment or standing orders.
• Medication and/or vaccine administration.
• Perform diagnostic screenings.
• Collect and prepare specimens for testing.
• In-office clinical procedures.
• Place and review orders in EMR.
• Relay lab/test results to patients.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and InterMed policies.
• Coordinate care with in-house specialties and community resources.
• Adhere to department protocols and complete mandatory education.
