Job summary

CoxHealth E Battlefield Clinic in Springfield, MO is hiring an Urgent Care nurse to provide professional nursing care during the initial phase of acute illness or trauma for patients of all ages. You will triage patients, determine care priority, stabilize and initiate treatment, and coordinate discharge or longer care as required.

The role supports a day shift schedule at the clinic with opportunities for leadership and efficient patient flow across the urgent care system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Missouri nursing license required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care during the initial phase of acute illness or trauma for patients of all ages in the Urgent Care setting.
• Triage patients and determine priority of care based on clinical and psychosocial factors; stabilize and initiate treatment as needed.
