Job summary

CoxHealth’s Urgent Care team seeks an experienced RN to provide immediate nursing care during acute illness or trauma for all ages. You will triage, assess, stabilize, initiate treatment, and discharge or arrange further care as needed.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and Missouri RN licensure, with a Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and retirement with employer match for 20+ hrs/week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Missouri nursing license active (required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership; time management; critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and determine priority of care based on physical, psychological, or social needs.
• Assess needs of each patient and stabilize when needed.
• Initiate treatment and discharge the patient or arrange for longer hospital stay.
