Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Bloomington seeks a Registered Nurse to join its urgent care team. This 1.0 FTE role covers shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m. on weekends, with an 80-hour biweekly schedule. The RN will provide patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting and ensure high-quality documentation and education. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, with 1 year of urgent care and 2 years in ambulatory care preferred, and Basic Life

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in ambulatory or urgent care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions based on plan of care.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Deliver care as delegated by physician to assigned patients.
• Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Continue to improve processes and workflow to enhance patient experience.
