Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the University - Immediate Care in Charlotte, NC. You will perform radiologic exams and venipuncture, following safety practices to deliver high-quality imaging.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED, AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registry within 6 months, and at least 1 year of experience with BLS. Full-time position with benefits and sign-on eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program completed.
• Current or soon-to-be ARRT registry within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• BLS certification required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physician.
• Follow department SOPs for routine exams.
• Check requisitions for notes and special instructions.
• Consult with Radiologist or physician as needed.
• Set appropriate technical factors for each patient.
• Operate equipment as required by exam demands.
• Maintain patient records and sample handling as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport to labs when required.
