Job summary

Advocate Health's GCMG Urgent Care University in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full-time Radiologic Technologist to perform basic radiologic exams and venipuncture procedures, while following radiation safety practices to deliver high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include selecting technical factors, operating radiology equipment, maintaining patient records, and preparing specimens for transport to the Medical Center or State Lab as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program required.
• Current ARRT registry or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physician.
• Adhere to department SOPs and safety practices.
• Check requisitions and notes; consult with radiologist as needed.
• Operate equipment and adjust technical factors per exam.
• Maintain patient records and transport specimens as needed.
