More About Our Team

Join our Urgent Care Team consisting of 2 Providers, a Registered Nurse (RN), a Rad Tech, and a Lab Assistant. We are a walk‑in clinic that treats injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, with hours of operation 7 days a week, 8:00 am–6:30 pm. This position offers the opportunity to care for the needs of our community and helps offload the ER so that emergent patients can receive priority care.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Reviews patient history and physician’s orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with imaging quality. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.

What We’re Looking For
  • Applicants must have a current state Radiologic Technologist license and a degree from an approved radiologic technology program.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Hospital training during a two‑year Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Experience in other X‑ray departments, clinics, or medical offices highly desired.
  • Must be a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be registry‑eligible and maintain registry status after certification.
  • Desirable to belong to national, state, or local societies.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
