Job summary

Banner Health Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform chest and extremity radiographic procedures, assist clinicians, and support patient care. The role involves preparing patients, coordinating tests, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The position requires high school diploma, ARRT/PRT certification or Limited Scope licensure, and current BLSCPR. Shifts are full-time with three 12-hour days and weekend coverage at varied locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• National certification as a Practical Radiologic Technologist or Limited Scope licensure.
• BLS CPR certification required every other year.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed chest and extremity radiographic procedures per policies.
• Assist clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care.
• Educate patients/families about procedures; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinate care including tests, referrals and scheduling; communicate results.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete billing-related information.
• Maintain clean exam rooms; handle equipment maintenance and sterilization.
• Order supplies and manage inventory; onboard new staff as needed.
• Ensure efficient department workflow and patient transport coordination.
