Job summary

Banner Health in Scottsdale is seeking an Urgent Care Radiologic Technician (PTR) to perform chest and extremity radiographic procedures across Zone 9–floating between clinics. You will assist clinicians, monitor patient safety, manage documentation, and support scheduling and patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and National certification as a Practical Radiologic Technologist or Limited Scope licensure, plus CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification as a Practical Radiologic Technologist or Limited Scope licensure is required.
• CPR (BLS) certification must be maintained every other year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiographic exams and record vital signs.
• Perform radiographic procedures per policy and keep equipment clean.
• Assist clinicians with exams and minor procedures, including EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling; communicate results to patients.
• Maintain complete medical records and ensure accurate billing data.
