Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity, explains procedures, and provides instructions for cooperation.
• Positions patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Evaluates images for diagnostic quality prior to interpretation.
• Operates, maintains, and performs QC checks on radiographic equipment.
• Documents procedures and imaging details in the EHR/radiology systems.
• Adheres to radiation safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality.
• Assists with patient intake, rooming, and other clinical support activities.
• Collaborates with providers to ensure timely imaging and coordinated care.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
