Job summary

Required ARRT certification, state license, BCLS within 30 days; 0-1 year experience preferred; strong communication and EHR/RIS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficient in radiologic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA.
• Experience operating radiographic equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic images.
• Practices radiation safety per ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely programs.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, identifies patients, and explains procedures.
• Manages PACS documentation and ensures accurate imaging records.
• Collaborates with radiologists and staff to support patient care.
• Maintains imaging equipment and infection control procedures.
