Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist – Urgent Care role at MedStat Urgent Care in Warsaw, IN, under Lutheran Health Network, performs full-scope radiographic procedures to support accurate diagnoses. You’ll produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety, ALARA compliance, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will work with digital X-ray equipment, maintain quality control, and document imaging details in the EHR, with shifts including 8 or 12-hour options.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required
• Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings preferred
• Knowledge of radiographic imaging principles and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations
• Verifies patient identity and exam details
• Positions patients to obtain optimal images and minimize exposure
• Evaluates images for quality and completeness
• Operates and maintains radiographic equipment
• Documents procedures and imaging details in the EHR
• Adheres to radiation safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality
• Assists with patient intake and front desk tasks
• Collaborates with providers for timely imaging
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies
