Job summary

American Family Care in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will also support MA duties, triage, labs, and MR tasks as needed, while maintaining QC logs.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified RT in good standing is required.
• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain within onboarding period.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging/radiology.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
