Qualifications

• Two years post-high school education in an AMA approved School of Radiology and ARRT registry or eligibility.
• Current Indiana license and BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Imaging procedures and ALARA safety practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Administers imaging procedures as ordered by physician/provider.
• Practices radiation safety per ALARA principles.
• Assists in preparing patients for examinations and records vital signs.
• Uses Radiology Information Systems and documents thoroughly and timely.
• Supports charge capture and cost containment activities.
• Keeps work area stocked and coordinates supply purchases.
• Performs laboratory tests as ordered and communicates results.
• Participates in orientation, education, and self-development activities.
• Maintains teamwork, flexible, and responsive to changes.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and JMH policies.
