Qualifications

• ARRT registry current or registry eligible; Indiana license required.
• BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers current.

Responsibilities

• Administers imaging procedures according to department policies; follows ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Assists in preparing patients for examinations; takes histories and vital signs.
• Operates Radiology Information systems and EHR; documents promptly and accurately.
• Participates in charge capture and cost containment activities within the department.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area; orders radiologic supplies and coordinates purchases.
• Performs laboratory tests (urine dip sticks, urine drug screens, blood draws) as ordered.
• Engages in ongoing education, orientation, and student training; supports team efforts.
• Communicates findings to provider or patient and educates patient as needed.

Education
