Qualifications

• Two years post high school education training in an AMA approved School of radiology, with current ARRT registry required.
• Current Indiana Radiologic Technologist license required.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• MRI certified with ARRT or MRI registry eligible (within 1 year) required.
• Previous radiology experience and MRI training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers procedures per department policies; performs MRI exams.
• Coordinates exam protocols with radiologists.
• Maintains complete, legible documentation per guidelines and HIPAA.
• Performs quality control of exams.
• Keeps work area clean and stocked; reports equipment repairs.
• Participates in orientation, education and student training.
