Job summary

Community Health Systems in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our Northwest Urgent Care, Ina location. This role performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensures patient safety, and maintains image quality in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements include 1–2 years of radiology experience, ARRT certification, and BLS. Day shifts, 12-hour shifts available, with travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited-Scope Radiologic Technologist required.
• Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings preferred.
• ARRT certification required; state license as applicable.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and explains procedures for cooperation.
• Positions patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Operates and maintains radiographic equipment; conducts quality control checks.
• Documents procedures and imaging details in EHR and radiology systems.
• Adheres to radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Supports patient intake and clinical coordination as needed.
• Collaborates with providers for timely imaging and patient care.
