Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited-Scope Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings preferred.
• ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity, explains procedures, and provides clear instructions.
• Positions patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure per ALARA.
• Evaluates images for quality before interpretation.
• Operates and maintains radiographic equipment and performs QC checks.
• Documents procedures and imaging details in EHR/Radiology systems.
• Adheres to radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient confidentiality policies.
• Supports patient intake and clinical tasks as needed; collaborates with staff to ensure timely imaging.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
