Job summary

Lumbee Group is seeking Board-Certified Urgent Care physicians to provide coverage across Georgia. The role requires board-certified physicians with an unrestricted Georgia license and DEA, capable of independent practice for patients aged 2 and up, with 3–4 patients per hour on 12-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates have urgent care/clinic experience and can commit to a minimum of 6 shifts per month, in multiple Georgia locations.

Qualifications

• Board Certified only; Board Eligible not accepted.
• Active unrestricted Georgia medical license and Georgia DEA.
• 8–12 hour shift coverage; 6 shifts per month minimum.
• Independent sole-provider capability; ages 2+; 3–4 patients per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care coverage across Georgia.
• Read chest and extremity X-rays without overread.
• Review labs and personally contact patients with positive results.

Requirements

• Board Certified only; Board Eligible not accepted.
• Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty.
• Active unrestricted Georgia medical license and Georgia DEA.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Recent Urgent Care/clinic experience within last year.
• Independent sole-provider capability; ages 2+; 3-4 patients/hour.
• At least 6 shifts/month.
• Compact licenses not accepted.

Schedule
