Peachtree Immediate Care is seeking a locum urgent care physician to provide coverage across select Gainesville, Lithonia, Midtown, Morrow, and Villa Rica sites. Shifts are 12 hours from 8a to 8p, with a requirement of at least 6 shifts per month.

Providers operate as solo clinicians, evaluating an average of four patients per hour and treating patients of all ages. Candidate must be board-certified, hold a GA medical license with DEA, and have at least 2 years of urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• GA medical license and valid DEA registration.
• Board certification in EM/urgent care or family medicine.
• Minimum 2 years urgent care experience.
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages.
• Able to recognize EKG changes and read X-rays.
• DOT certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide urgent care coverage at multiple locations.
• Operate as a solo provider during shifts.
• Cover at least 6 shifts per month; 12-hour shifts from 8a to 8p.
• Open 7 days a week with ~4 patients per hour.
• Manage common urgent care cases: infections, lacerations, UTI, strep, etc.
• Conduct basic procedures and medical reviews as needed.

Urgent Care

• Seeking Coverage starting ASAP

• Need at least 6 shifts per month

• Shift Time: 8a-8p (12hr shifts)

• Over 50+ Locations but Need Gainesville, Lithonia, Midtown, Morrow, and Villa Rica

• Open 7 days a week

• Average Patients: 4 per hour

• Must be comfortable with all ages

• 75% are new patients

• Working as a solo provider

• Must have at least 2 years of UC experience

• Typical Cases/Procedures: Flu, Lacerations, Sore Throat, UTI, Diarrhea, Stitch Check, Med Reactions, STD Treatment, suturing, splinting, etc.

• Must be able to recognize and read EKG changes and X-Rays

• Lab review is required

• Drug screen is done by the MA

• Must be Board Certified

• Must have GA license and DEA

• DOT is preferred but not required
