Job summary

Included Health, Inc. is seeking a board-certified physician to provide care to patients across ages in urgent and primary care settings. You will document records, collaborate with care teams, and maintain up-to-date knowledge in a high-volume environment.

The role reports to the Medical Director of Urgent Care. 4-6 year expectation window and licensure in at least one state with IMLCC eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-residency experience in fast-paced urgent care or primary care outpatient settings.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual board Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• U.S. medical license with eligibility for IMLCC and current Medicare/Medicaid standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual exams, diagnose, and document findings.
• Deliver high quality patient care with a focus on safety.
• Document patient history and care, review prior records.
• Request consultations or referrals when needed.
• Counsel and educate patients; order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage pediatric and adult acute care, chronic disease, and mental health conditions.
• Stay updated on current medical research and trends.
• Provide administrative support and cross-coverage for lab results.
• Schedule flexibility including evenings and weekends.
