Job summary

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration required.
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses is preferred.
• Ability to read diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (we will provide if needed).
• Meets credentialing requirements set by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and provide high-quality medical care to adults and children.
• Deliver patient-centered service and maintain patient satisfaction standards.
• Provide care within clinical policies and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff; ensure clear communication for reimbursement.
• Complete documentation and ensure communication for appropriate reimbursement.
