Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed).
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients.
• Deliver service and courtesy standard to achieve high patient satisfaction.
• Provide patient care within clinical area per policies and bylaws.
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff.
• Document services and maintain complete records for reimbursement.
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication for patient care.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS as required.
• Report to Regional Medical Director (RMD).
