Job summary

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice in SC.
• Advanced degree from an accredited APN/PA program.
• Licensed NP/PA in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
• Current DEA registration.
• DOT certification.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification provided if needed.
• Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with resource management for adults and children with center physicians.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards.
• Provide patient care in accordance with bylaws, policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patient, family and staff; maintain accurate records.
• Complete documentation and ensure communication for appropriate reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) and pursue additional training as required.
