Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and SC license.
• MSN/MPA or equivalent NP/PA degree.
• Current DEA registration and DOT certification.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• BLS certification required (provided if needed).
• Strong communication with patients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and deliver high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management in coordination with center physicians.
• Maintain patient satisfaction by upholding Prisma Health Urgent Care service standards.
• Provide and/or serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Document services accurately and ensure communication for appropriate reimbursement.
• Complete necessary documentation and facilitate continuity of care.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) and pursue specialty trainings as required.
