Job summary
MainStreet Family Care in Cameron, NC is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent, primary, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with leadership of a small team and high-volume throughput.

Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
- MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly)
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (company covers cost)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID and other URIs.
- Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Suturing and splinting
- General Orthopedic evaluations/management
- Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
- General Dermatology and eye problems
- General EKG interpretations
- Emergency management skills
- General GYN expertise
- Treating children of all ages
- Occupational medicine and telemedicine
