Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an urgent care clinician to support a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. You will work under the Urgent Care Physician to perform histories, exams, orders, and educate patients and families.

You will be involved in minor procedures, patient oversight, and appropriate referrals, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science required.
• Master of Arts or Science required.
• IF PA: Bachelor of Science in a physical science required.
• IF NP: Masters of Nursing degree required/appropriate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Urgent Care Physician with history-taking, exams, orders, and patient progress notes.
• Perform minor procedures including wound care, drainage, and splinting as needed.
• Direct patients to the Emergency Department for worsening conditions and educate families on care at home.
