Job summary

Community Health-GoHealth Urgent Care seeks a Physician Assistant to provide urgent care services across Central Indiana. You will assess, diagnose, and treat both pediatric and adult patients, perform minor procedures, and document in the EMR.

You will work independently or with a physician and may vaccinate and refer to specialists as needed. Requirements include a PA master's degree, NCCPA certification, and at least 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience, plus strong clinical

Qualifications

• Licensed PA with NCCPA certification and at least 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients.
• Proficient in suturing, casting, and splinting.
• Proficient in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate patients on care and prevention and refer to specialists as needed.
