The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a Pediatric Urgent Care specialist for Caton Hill Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. This 0.7 FTE role involves direct patient care in a collaborative, multi-specialty setting with a focus on prevention and high-quality outcomes.

Board-certified or eligible in Pediatrics; MD or DO required and licensed in DC, MD, and VA or eligible to obtain. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits available.

• Provide culturally competent care and go above and beyond for patients.

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Urgent Care Pediatrics at our Caton Hill Medical Center.

Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

What You Can Expect:

• This position is listed as a 0.7FTE, which is the equivalent of 28 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
• Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, pediatricians and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other
• Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a dynamic clinical setting, including holidays, weekends and limited on-call duty —while supported by a team culture that values flexibility, well-being, and sustainable work-life integration
• Direct patient care
• 8-9-10 hour shifts
• No behavioral health or pediatric patient observation
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
• Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)

The starting annual salary for this position is $245,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
