Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support front-end and clinical operations. You will collect patient histories, vital signs, and perform phlebotomy where certified, while maintaining accurate lab documentation and EMR entries.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy.
• Ability to register patients on the computer and use EMR.
• CPR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab samples if certified.
• Complete lab paperwork and order entries in the EMR.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, glucose, influenza, urinalysis).
• Assist providers with exams and testing.
• Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Ensure equipment is functional and stocked.
