UCHealth Highlands Ranch is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for full-time employment in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting. The candidate will provide comprehensive primary care across pediatric and adult patients, leveraging prescriptive authority and collaboration with medical staff.

The role requires a Master’s degree, Colorado licensure, and PA-C/NP credentials, with strong emphasis on exceptional patient care and teamwork in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with pediatric and adult patients as an advanced practice provider in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room.
• Family Nurse Practitioner candidates must have full prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment; orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral.
• Counsels patients and families on preventative health, treatment options and resources.
• Performs preventative health assessments, screening and immunizations.
• Operates with critical thinking in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
