NextCare in Thornton, Colorado is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. This role offers variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact in a fast-paced, well-supported clinic, with three 12-hour shifts per week.

Qualifikationen

• Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license.
• PA: NCCPA certification
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification; FNP required
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound management
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
