Job summary

Moab Regional Hospital is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant/Family Nurse Practitioner to join its Urgent Care Clinic. The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver direct patient care in a hospital-based, outpatient setting for all ages, with a broad scope of practice and independent decision-making.

The schedule aligns with Urgent Care hours (10:00–20:00 Mon–Fri; 10:00–18:00 Sat/Sun); weekend and holiday shifts are required. Strong English communication and a valid Utah PA license are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Utah state license as a Physician Assistant.
• Eligible for state Controlled Substance License II through V.
• Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications for healthcare providers.
• Two years’ experience in an Urgent Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient urgent care for all ages.
• Review records, document history and physicals, and formulate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and determine dosages per patient condition.
• Utilize EMR and travel/medical resources; coordinate with ED when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance; participate in meetings.
