Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Cary, NC, is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-centered care across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with opportunities to lead a small team after onboarding.

New graduates are welcome. We offer a strong support system, CME allowance, UpToDate subscription, and on-site HQ orientation and training to help you grow into the role and advance your career.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required; new grads welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain; employer covers cost.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing.
• Splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• General Dermatology and eye problems.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• General GYN expertise.
• Treating children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine and Telemedicine.
