Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to join our growing urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent and primary care services, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with on-site orientation and strong clinical support.

We seek a motivated PA who can lead a small team, manage high patient volumes, and exercise full scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly)
• DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (we cover the cost)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of urgent care needs
• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing and splinting as needed
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review of X-rays with radiologist oversight
• General dermatology and eye problem care
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management
• General GYN expertise
• Treat children of all ages and occupational medicine cases
• Provide telemedicine services
