Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Central Indiana is seeking a Physician Assistant Float to provide a broad range of clinical services for patients of all ages. You will assess, diagnose, and treat acute conditions, deepening expertise in urgent care settings.

The role requires a Master’s in PA studies and NCCPA certification, with at least one year of full-time urgent care experience, and proficiency in suturing, splinting, and casting. EMR familiarity and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification are required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed PA or NP in urgent care or EM setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients is required.
• Proficiency in suturing, splinting and casting is required.
• Ability to read EKGs and X-rays is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate patients on care and prevention; coordinate referrals as needed.
