Qualifications
- Active State Medical License
- Controlled Substance Registration
- Advanced Practitioner certification
- PALS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Experience performing routine urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and orthopedic-related care
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
