Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Oxford is seeking an experienced RN/LPN for our urgent care unit. You will perform patient assessments, document care, and support physicians with procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of nursing experience, MA licensure, and strong communication skills. This role offers day shifts, potential signing bonus, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an LPN or RN.
• Current MA licensure in the state.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Strong nursing procedures knowledge and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient physical assessment and document care.
• Triages phone calls and follows through.
• Assist physicians with procedures and prepare supplies.
• Perform venipuncture, 12 lead EKGs and immunizations.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Maintain professional standards and positive patient relations.
