Job summary

Corewell Health Urgent Care is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a PRN float role in Michigan. The position will float to clinics at Wayne, Southgate and Farmington locations, providing patient care across adult and pediatric populations in coordination with center physicians.

Ideal candidates are board-certified/board-eligible, licensed in Michigan, with DEA registration and DOT certification, and comfortable with urgent care procedures.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Licensed NP/PA in Michigan with current DEA registration
• DOT certification is required

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care for adults and children
• Adhere to service and courtesy standards and deliver patient satisfaction
• Provide care within policies and maintain complete medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff
• Complete documentation and ensure appropriate reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) as needed
