Job summary

Corewell Health Urgent Care in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality urgent care services. You will work with center physicians to evaluate and treat patients, perform procedures, and maintain accurate medical records.

The role requires an NP/PA advanced degree, MI licensure, DEA registration, and DOT certification. BLS certification will be provided if needed. On-site, full-time schedule with competitive compensation and bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice in the state
• NP/PA advanced degree from accredited program
• Licensed NP/PA in Michigan
• Current DEA registration
• DOT certification
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification provided if needed
• Credentialing eligibility per WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care/Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children in coordination with center physicians
• Deliver patient satisfaction through service and courtesy standards
• Provide and document comprehensive patient care and maintain records
• Complete documentation and communicate for appropriate reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development
