Corewell Health Urgent Care seeks a patient-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to float across Warren and St. Clair Shores clinics, providing high-quality urgent care with strong collaboration with center physicians.

The role emphasizes patient satisfaction, documentation, and professional development, with opportunities for growth within a leading Michigan urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed in the state of practice.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Licensed NP/PA in Michigan.
• Current DEA registration.
• DOT certification is required.
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Effective communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
• Provide patient care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff.
• Document and maintain accurate records and ensure reimbursement.
• Complete necessary documentation and facilitate care communication.
• Participate in meetings to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain professional development and certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS).
• Report to Regional Medical Director and Area Clinical Operations Director.
