Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) in Colorado for locum tenens coverage. Start ASAP, 40-hour weeks with weekend shifts, and EPIC/Health Connect EMR use. ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required, along with an active Colorado license.

Suture, incision and drainage, and splinting are common procedures. Pay rate ranges $80.51–$87.15 per hour. Malpractice insurance arrangements and travel/lodging support are provided by AMN Healthcare.

Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required.
• Active Colorado license is required.
• ER experience is required for this urgent care locum role.
• EMR: EPIC/Health Connect is used by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and toenail removal.
• Provide bread-and-butter urgent care in outpatient setting.
• Coordinate care for urgent conditions with ER experience considered a plus.

This facility is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & Requirements For This Opportunity

• Schedule: 40 hour weeks with varying shift lengths. Must be able to work weekends.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Type of cases: suturing, incision, drainage, splinting, toenail removal, bread and butter urgent care. Emergency Room experience required.
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 Days
• Electronic Medical Record(EMR): EPIC/Health Connect
• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Active Colorado License
